Georgetown Autumn
Just two cool pics I took.

Hoyas getting hitched on the Hilltop.  I wonder if my future wife will be from Georgetown haha.

Today was my roommate Han Youp's 19th birthday.  So I threw him a birthday bash for the ages!  Rose and Jo also tagged along.
We went to Benihana's on M Street.  As you may know, it's a Japanese restaurant where they cook in front of you and do goofy food-related tricks like tossing discarded shrimp tails into their hats, etc.

Fried Rice Heart!  Awwwww!

Onion Volcano... quite possible the coolest onion trick ever.

Here I am handing over my awesome gift to Han Youp.

Wow a pair of Puma sneakers?  These must have cost you a fortune! You shouldn't have!

Rose got Han Youp a "Grow Your Own Girlfriend" kit.  Just what he wanted.

Rose also got him this t-shirt since Han Youp is such an environmentalist.
"Winning the War Against Trees"

The cookie cake me and Rose got for him.

Ehh i dunno

Back at the dorm, we eagerly await the growth of our new girlfriend.  Han Youp was kind enough to agree to share her with me.

Happy Birthday Han!

Ok fans, I am finally updating since arriving at Georgetown University.  I've probably lost my entire reader base but I'll try to get it back.  So here goes.

So here is the great Healy Hall.  This part of campus is the best.  Everyone puts on the facade of being "collegiate and preppy" so they pretentiously toss frisbees while popping collars.  On cloudy and rainy days, Healy Hall looks kinda evil.  When you go through the the gates of Healy Hall... you reach this tranquil area known as...

Dahlgren Chapel
Going past the chapel on the left leads the my dorm "The West Wing."  My dorm room is actually really big and it has a private bathroom.

There's my messy desk.  Notice the 20 in widescreen monitor.  It's awesome for showing movies, playing video games, or being cool and having a word document, internet explorer window, and AIM buddy list side by side.

My window has a good view of Healy and the chapel.  However, it doesn't beat some dorms who have a view of the Potomac grrr!

There's my goofball roommate Han Youp Lee from Seoul.

Student body - extremely homogeneous.  75% of the kids share the following characteristics

-Went to a private boarding school in the Northeast and not afraid to rub their wealth in your face.  For example "Andover Yacht Club" sweatshirt.  So you went to high school that costs more than Georgetown and you were part of the yacht club to boot?
-Wears Lacoste or Ralph Lauren polos with the collar obnoxiously popped.  You can always tell the ones who are just pretending cuz their collar is perfectly popped.  The true prep has the messed up popped collar look.
-Plaid shorts - you guys from high school remember those plaid shorts I had?  Yea I've seen two other people wear the exact same pair.  I'm not wearing those anymore.

The rest of the student body is ridiculously international.  Black people speaking Chinese... Chinese people speaking Arabic, people from every country in the world.  Pretty cool.

Georgetown Area
This place was definitely not designed with the poor college student in mind.  I guess that's okay, since everyone here is rich.  But a few blocks off campus is the shopping paradise known as M Street.  Banana Republic is the bargain bin in comparison to the other stores.
For all you material boys and girls: Banana Republic, Urban Outiffters, A&F, American Eagle, Anthropologie, FCUK, BCBG, Coach, Lacoste, Ralph Lauren, Diesel, J. Crew, Club Monaco, Armani Exchange, and Kenneth Cole.  I don't know I am going to be able to control myself with all these stores within walking distance.

Chinatown's Friendship Arch

Georgetown Vs. Brown
Our chants of "Safety School" and "Flush Brown Down" failed.  They creamed us 34-3.  Makes me yearn for UT Austin football.  I'll have to wait for basketball season to feel good about my school's athletics haha.

Ehh I can't think of anything else right now.  I guess I'll update later with more pics.

Currently Listening
Friends Forever (Graduation)
By Vitamin C

*Tear* so many of my friends all hung out with me during my last week in Plano!  Yea yea sappy entry but it was cool to know a lot of people wanted to say goodbye in person!  It's nice to know I made some meaningful friendships throughout high school!  So yea, it turns out no matter how much I don't want to admit it... I am gonna miss most of the parts of high school ranging from Student Senate to Homecoming to maybe even IB.  I just hope I can meet cool kids at Georgetown too.

Yep I leave tomorrow morning for my first ever trip on an airplane.  Thanks to all the punks out there feeding me horror stories.  It still hasn't hit me that I am finally going off to college... in a new and big city some 1300 miles away.  Yep it didn't even hit me as I was writing MY FIRST PAPER for college UGH.  I bullshitted a masterpiece by reading the first 50 pages and then skipping to the last ten pages.  It's a good method since my topic was on the cyclical nature of the book and how it ends where it begins.  Convenient eh?  Anyways, I hope I didn't forget anything and I'll definitely update with everything once I move into my dorm August 27th.

Oh yea I'm not actually listening to that cliched song by Vitamin C.  I just thought it was fitting.  As we go on... we remember... all the times we... had together... annnd as our lives change...
*runs off crying*

Happy 19th Birthday to Liz!  You're the coolest!

If you are reading this, then I probably already look like a hot Asian chipmunk because I got my wisdom teeth out.  Ehh I'll update later!

UPDATE with pics!

I hope no potential girlfriends are looking at this.  This is me at my worst.  Hair disheveled, lips are numb so I feel nothing from hot kisses from beautiful women, and I got that lovely ice pack strapped to my face.

Those are the awesome aviators that Liz bought me.  I figured now is a good time to debut the hottest accessory for the fall.  I'll update later if I swell up and look like a chipmunk cuz I'm sure everyone wants to see that.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I got good news to counter act the wisdom teeth pain!  Today I found out my rooming assignment for Georgetown and I get to be in the Village C West which is the only freshmen dorm with... *drum roll* private bathrooms!  Woohoo!

Anyways, the outside looks like a Holiday Inn or something.  I hope for when I'm an upperclassmen I can get into some of the Gothic architecture-inspired dorms like the one below.  I think that would inspire me to be an intellectual.

Apparently the lawn infront of Copley Hall is the #1 place to pick up the hot Hoyas cuz they sprawl out or play frisbee.  I wonder if I would look hot playing frisbee.
Anyways I get 239 square feet of room and I'm on the 8th floor.  The view outside my window is the quaint little Dahlgren Chapel.

Quaint huh?

Anyways I'm scared for college.  I figure my first way to pick up girls would be to ask the first pretty girl I see in the laundry room to show me how to do laundry.  I think that would really turn her on as she rummels through my dandy clothes.  Finally, I'll be leaving home on Aug. 25th at 11 a.m. on an airplane! (I'm wondering when everyone else is leaving too) My first trip on an airplane ever!  I'm prepared though if someone decides to highjack it.  My awesome economics teacher gave us a tip: have everyone throw their shoes and them and whip them with your leather belts.
